Landscape at sundown. View of Potomac river. The Kennedy Center stands next to the river.

If you are thinking about visiting our capital this summer, do not miss the accessible performances held at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Among those performances are:

  • Kinky Boots
  • The Bridges of Madison County
  • The Phantom of the Opera

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has accessible performances throughout the year, but the summertime offers the greatest number of events with audio descriptions, closed captions or sign language interpreters.

Check the performances calendar and make a space in your schedule to attend at least one.

Beside all the fantastic summer events in our gorgeous capital, this is one more excuse to visit it!
