As we approach the last quarter of 2017, it is hard to believe we are in the middle of September already, there are a few deadlines looming and several activities approaching. - American Foundation for the Blind 2018 Corinne Kirchner Research Award
Award nominations are due on October 15, 2017
Qualified candidates are individual researchers or research teams who have, through published work, made groundbreaking contributions to the field of blindness and low vision. The award recognizes research that employs a novel approach or investigates a new area of inquiry with the potential to impact policy or systems change. - National Association of the Deaf (NAD) - 2017 Leadership Training Conference

- The 2017 ICT Accessibility Testing Symposium: Automated & Manual Testing, WCAG 2.1, and Beyond
Thursday October 26 & Friday October 27, 2017 - Washington D.C
This symposium presents workshops, papers, and panelists from universities, government and organizations involved with accessibility. Track 1 of the symposium focus on Manual & Automated Web Testing.
