Dicapta has received resources from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, through the Administration for Community Living (ACL), to develop a Digital Aided Description tool that will offer an inviting and accessible experience for students with visual impairments to collaborate with sighted peers and teachers in creating descriptions of pictures and other images from their own reading, lessons, and classroom experience.

We invite all TVIs, as well classroom teachers who have had visually impaired children in their classrooms, to participate in this survey that should take less than ten minutes to complete. Please visit the online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/dicapta_teacher_survey

Your responses to this short online survey would be enormously helpful. We would also appreciate you passing this announcement on to other TVIs, and to any classroom teachers you know who work with visually impaired children.
